Established in 2004, we are a non-profitable charitable organisation who educate and train children and young people excluded or at risk of exclusion from mainstream education.

We currently run primary and secondary provision for pupils aged 6-17 years old.

The main aim of our program is to re-engage pupils back into mainstream education. We offer a small, nurture based provision for KS1/2 pupils in a calm, purposeful environment to encourage emotional growth and learning.

We incorporate the formal requirements of the National Curriculum, alongside a range of extra-curricular activities to enrich the pupil’s experience.

GUST offers a diverse programme of education that engages young people through a combination of indoor classwork (eg Literacy, Numeracy, ICT, Geography, History, Languages, Science, Food Technology), indoor activities (eg Arts & Crafts, Pool, Cinema) and outdoor activities (eg PE, Orienteering, Field Trips).

We strive to make learning enjoyable in a positive environment, enabling students to achieve their personal goals.
